The cover of Rika magazine for S/S10 that I styled with my beautiful sexy friend Daisy, shot by Liz Collins. It's beautifully art directed by Jacob Wildschioedtz, there's interviews with people like Pamela Love and Mark Hom among others and modelling the collection alongside Daisy Duke is Josephine de la Baume, Christina Kruse and Liberty Ross, if you havent seen Liberty in the latest Unkle video "follow me down' watch it immediately here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDD-mw69KMA her body is like a finely tuned racehorse before the Prix de L'arc de Triomphe.

My mate Indigo hails from the land of wombats, kangaroos, and christmases on the beach, she's an ace fashion journalist and seriously good fun to party with. Indigo just interviewed me for her feature Fashion Love Story on the Sundance Channel website, check it out here...
It comes complete with a picture of me as a bold nipper back home in Ireland with my first pony Mindy (thats the evil looking little grey one on the left)
She bit me on the eye socket once, it swelled down over my eye onto my cheek like a fleshy eye patch and proceeded to turn every colour under the sun over the course of two weeks. I could genuinely have been rented out to the circus during this time. It's testament to my parents integrity that they resisted the urge to make a fast buck.

I fell off my bike last night and bashed up my wrist, man it hurts, i also have a stigmata-esque cut on the palm of my hand. Anyway i was thinking about ET's bulbous fire 'Ouch' finger cos of the pain and so i googled ET and found this mega creepy pic of MJ and ET together which i think is pretty amazing, look at those colours, so saturated and gorgeous. I also found pictures of ET having sex with people which is wrong and sort of hot in an ' okay i get your alien sex fetish' kinda way.

Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record: you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

As a naieve 12 year old on my first day in Loreto Abbey Rathfarnham boarding school in Dublin, having put my things into my tiny wardrobe and laid out my Garfield duvet on my tiny bed in my tiny cubicle, I set out into the hundred girl strong dormitary to choose my best friend. I look back now and realize I was choosing a mate, my very own partner in crime for the next 5 years, I was seeking someone extremely attractive, boldly athletic and effortlessly confident.
As I cruised the dorm a beautiful golden haired girl with the best legs i've ever seen caught my eye, she was lit up from the inside like a little chef on a lonely highway, pretty as a rose and exuding an air of dazzling self assurance. She was perfection.
Over zealous and full of my own self worth I approached this glorious creature and tried to woo her by regaling tales of my boy conquests at Irish college.
I came on too strong.
She backed off like a yearling refusing to put a bridle for the first time.
It took me 2 months to convince Linda I was meant to be her best friend forever, she eventually realized this to be the truth and we have been best buddies ever since.
We have run across countries together, jumped metres into the wet sand of long jumps in all the counties of Ireland, rode ponies to victory flank to flank, orchestrated midnight feasts, tasted sweet triumph in the dizzy neon glow of the dorm toilets at 5am shoulder to shoulder conquering Mario Kart on our gameboys and had an extremely succesfull school christmas fete selling fimo penguin brooches that had been moulded under the tables of many of our maths, business studies and religion classes for the whole preceeding month of December.
In the last 6 years I've watched Linda blossom into one of the most talented young photographers that I know. She has a knack for making people love her, actually she doesnt have to make them, they just do. Her pictures as a result are beautiful, intimate and awe- inspiring.
This evening Linda Brownlee my lifetime best friend and rock is part of a group show of 6 super talented young portrait photographers in the print space on Kingsland Road 'You me and everybody else' from 7pm.
It's also her birthday, so come see some brilliantly observed portrait photography and help her celebrate being amazing and one year wiser.
Happy Birthday Linda, I love you.
